Since the first bet on the inaugural season of this WNBA tipped off on June 21, 1997 along with the New York Liberty juggling the Are generally Sparks it ushered in a very new star of professional basketball in the country. The headcount in this initial game stood at 14,000 in attendance therefore it wouldn't normally require much time for your fledgling WNBA to look at its attendance figures skyrocket.
